Cameron Shropshire
Member-at-Large
Cameron is originally from Ohio but has called Colorado home since 2005. Cameron currently works in county government to address housing and homelessness. When Cameron is not spending time with his family, he enjoys hiking and trail running. Cameron is also a volunteer Emergency Medical Responder.
Christopher Lamprecht
Events Coordinator​

Chris is originally from Illinois. He currently works in the field of child protection. He graduated from
DePaul University with a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Community Psychology.
Chris's passion is to collaborate with community to find holistic solutions to address community needs. In addition to this passion he loves summiting the 14ers of Colorado, strength training, and playing amateur baseball. Chris is an animal lover as well with multiple pets.
Lindsey Rassmusen
Member-at-Large
Lindsey E. Rasmussen is a political consultant at Hilltop Public Solutions. Prior to Hilltop, Lindsey worked in the Colorado State Legislature, Governor Polis's Office, and in various nonprofits and on the political campaign trail. Lindsey is also a board member at Denver nonprofit The Conflict Center, and has a passion for nonprofit and charitable work. Lindsey lives in Thornton with her partner, Slade.
Jason Delancy

Jason Delancy is the founder of Father’s Against Madness, which is a community level resource, available to men who come together and discuss issues about fatherhood amongst each other's; while working to better each other's lives. Each year, Father's Against Madness puts together a Suit Giveaway and Resource Fair, just prior of Father's Day. This event is designed to help Father's feel better about themselves, in ways that they can help better our communities; as well as give them direction on any further assistance (jobs, food, clothing, housing, etc).
A Denver, CO. native and graduate of George Washington H.S & Colorado Film School, where he received certification in Writing, Acting and Directing.
He's also a broker associate at Town and Country Realty, a firm that specializes in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate in Denver Colorado.
Whether rooting for Denver's sports teams or entertaining packed audience's while performing stand-up comedy in his free time, you can find Jason exploring the city and spending quality time with his child.
The designated hours per month will be designated to:

Setting up corporate sponsorships and driving fundraising initiatives, which includes driving one fundraising event per quarter (majority of the time)

Attending one 1.5-hour board meeting a month, which includes pre-meeting preparation and coordination

Attending quarterly 4-hour strategic board meetings, which includes pre-meeting preparation and coordination

Regular meetings with the Executive Director to discuss the organization’s status, align on actions and provide accountability for outcomes.

Monitoring and assessing the organization’s programs and their impact

Keeping informed by the organization’s leadership of significant developments and changes in the internal and external environment

Developing, informing, and supporting the board and the board committees to carry out their governance functions

Ensure the Board’s directives, policies, and resolutions are carried out

Developing and maintaining beneficial relationships with donors, funders, supporters, collaborators, allies, vendors, and other stakeholders
Desired Qualifications

Have served on a nonprofit board
-
Board leadership experience is a plus
-
Professional experience in the non-profit sector, in business, government, or philanthropy.

A commitment and understanding of the people served by SOAR, preferably based on experience
-
Savvy diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals
-
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of at-risk youth
