Victoria G.
Adolescent & Adventure Engagement Coach
Victoria is a Hoosier native who moved out to Colorado to pursue an MSW at the University of Denver. She earned her B.S. in Psychology at Indiana University with minors in Criminal Justice, Biology, and Spanish, and has experience with crisis diversion, early childhood care, justice-impacted youth, and most recently, in the classroom. Before joining the SOAR team, Victoria taught English at an alternative school in her hometown, specifically working with 7th, 8th, 11th, and 12th graders who were expelled from their school districts. In her research, she seeks to understand puberty's role in the relationship between adverse childhood experiences and later adolescent risk-taking. Her passions lie in early intervention, resilience building, community integration, and advocacy work. In her free time, Victoria likes being outside hiking and camping with friends, trying new food spots, and taking time to explore all Colorado has to offer.
