Stacey Ivey

President

Stacey Ivey serves as the Board President for SOAR (Seeing Our Adolescents Rise), bringing over 18 years of experience as a dedicated educator to the organization’s leadership. Before transitioning into her role on the board, she was directly involved in the mission as a Youth Education Support Specialist, providing her with a unique, first-hand understanding of the programs and students SOAR serves.


Throughout her career, Stacey Ivey has consistently championed inclusive education and family support. In addition to her 18 years as a teacher, she works as a parent educator, specifically supporting parents with developmental disabilities. This role reflects her deep commitment to accessibility and her belief that every family deserves the tools and empowerment necessary to thrive. Her leadership experience further includes serving on the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and School Accountability Committees, where she worked to bridge the gap between schools and families.


Throughout her nearly two decades in education, Stacey Ivey has consistently advocated for student success and community involvement. Now in her third year on the SOAR board, she utilizes this expertise to guide the organization’s strategic vision and support its commitment to youth development.


Beyond her professional and board service, Stacey Ivey is a devoted mother of three who believes deeply in the importance of fostering a supportive environment for the next generation. In her personal time, she is an avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys staying active through sports and exploring new landscapes. Her commitment to service is rooted in a lifelong passion for education and a belief that empowering adolescents is the key to building a stronger, more resilient community.
