Meredith A.

Meredith is originally from a small town in rural North Carolina. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Public Relations at Appalachian State University, she decided to commit to two years of service through AmeriCorps. Her experiences serving communities in Knoxville, Tennessee and Denver, Colorado helped her discover her passion for social work and creating communities of care. While completing her graduate program at the University of Denver, Meredith also deepened her love of the outdoors and strengthened her survival skills through backpacking, eventually participating in a NOLS backpacking trip in Alaska. Meredith approaches her work from a strengths based perspective and is dedicated to helping clients utilize their inherent strengths and knowledge to create positive outcomes. She emphasizes the mind body connection and hopes to support every individual in becoming an active member of their mental health journey.

When not outside, Meredith enjoys spending time with her three perfect cats, playing Dungeons and Dragons, getting lost in a book, or crocheting clothes for her friends.
