About the Event
Seeking all food lovers, gardeners, and future chefs! If you’ve ever wondered where the delicious food you love comes from, this is the perfect program for you! You will have the opportunity to witness researchers, entrepreneurs, and scientists at work. You will experience the inside of growth chambers & state-of-the-art food labs, where food like meat, dairy, fruit, and vegetables are developed. Have fun exploring a green roof and greenhouse where you can learn how to produce plants and food in your own area. You may even have the chance to partake in a mock kitchen where you can be a chef or food scientist! Join with SOAR and CSU Spur for this exciting opportunity!
