COVID-19 Internal Policy

With the constant shift in our current climate, we would like to take a moment and make our SOAR community aware of our internal COVID-19 Policy & Procedures.

Currently, we have each of our families acknowledge our COVID-19 Policy and Release, with the understanding of the current escalating conditions.  We also let them know that we will inform them if they have been in contact with any of our team members that have been compromised, we ask them to do the same for the purposes of protecting our team.

Next, all of our staff have begun speaking with our youth about what it will look like to transfer to working with them remotely. If there has been a situation which has compromised any of our clients we will contact them directly via a personal phone call and follow up our phone call with an email message.  If possible, the compromised SOAR team member will begin working with those youth virtually to minimize any disruption in the services provided.  If this is not possible, other SOAR team members will begin to connect with the youth to maintain ongoing services.

Then, we will contact each of the agencies who have clients in which a compromised SOAR team member has had direct contact with.  If you, the agency would like more detailed information such as a list of clients that have been in contact with a compromised SOAR team member.  We ask that you reach out to us, directly, to receive this information.

We realize that in this environment our circumstances are constantly changing. SOAR's goal is to make sure that we are able to maintain both our client's and their families' safety while continuing to support them through the services we offer, with minimal disruption.
