Vin Toner

Vin is an experienced executive leader in the mutual fund operations arena and serves as the Board’s Treasurer. An innovative, collaborative, detail-oriented financial senior level executive with over 3 decades of experience in mutual fund operations, he brings deep expertise in financial stewardship, governance, and organizational oversight to the SOAR Board.

Throughout his career, Vin has held senior leadership roles at Transamerica Asset Management, Brown Brothers Harriman, and OppenheimerFunds, where he led fund administration, accounting, and operational risk functions. Known for driving efficiency and strengthening controls throughout his corporate career, he was recently sought out to consult for a large private equity firm and charged with a wide variety of process enhancements in a time of unprecedented growth. His strategic mindset and commitment to strong financial frameworks directly support SOAR’s mission of empowering youth through opportunity and advocacy.

Vin serves because he believes every young person deserves a safe, supportive path to success—something shaped by his own experiences growing up in a tight knit community and later mentoring teams throughout his career. He also believes that everyone, from a young child to a new employee, should feel empowered to make decisions while always learning from the consequences; good or bad.

Outside the boardroom, Vin enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf, and maintaining lifelong friendships he’s made across the globe. He brings not only professional rigor but genuine heart to SOAR’s work.
