Max Witherspoon

Max is a multidisciplinary entrepreneur with a background spanning creative marketing, social media, software development, and corporate finance. Max has worked with a variety of non-profits for over 10 years - specifically with missions related to childhood education and development - helping them to better define their strategic direction, hone their internal processes, and tell their unique story to the world.

Max has consulted professionally for organizations in biomedical research, hotelling, business services, banking, manufacturing, and the video game industry - one of his lifelong passions. His work now focuses on growing similarly-passionate and engaged social communities in the Denver area, and he brings an informed, thoughtful, human-first approach to strategic decision making at SOAR.

Max's dedication to childhood development stemmed from his time as a gifted student in the Chicago Public School system and member of the Chicago Children's Choir where he was exposed to cultures and languages across the world. He believes in the vital importance that all children have access to experiences that broaden their worldview through which they can develop confidence, connection, and meaningful human experiences. The CCC's mission - to bridge racial, cultural, and socio-economic differences through music has resonated with him since childhood. These experiences shaped his humanistic vision for the world and his feeling of responsibility to his local community.

In his free time, Max sings with the Colorado Symphony, and his many hobbies rival his broad professional experiences;  he loves to read, snowboard, cook and bake, hike with his fiance and dog - Koda, design community events, and explore the endless worlds that unfold through video games.
