Kristine A.
Leadership Intern
Kristine is a Colorado native, born and raised in the Denver Metro area. She is currently working towards a Bachelor's in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development and Family Relations. She discovered her passion for working with the youth while working at an academy in Lakewood. Throughout her childhood, Kristine was a competitive gymnast in Denver and was given the opportunity to compete in NYC where she managed to place on bars which was a huge achievement for a little girl from Colorado. Going into high school, She switched to volleyball and cheerleading so she could have more free time with her family and friends. Kristine has been volunteering with a nonprofit pet adoption since high school. Her & her family are considered 'foster fails' after they adopted Bindi, one of our foster puppies, her favorite failure in life. She also recently celebrated my cat, Moira's first 'gotcha day' in November, named after one of her favorite sitcoms created by Eugene and David Levy. Kristines' hobbies include stretching her old gymnast joints, reading various crime novels and of course, hanging with Moira and Bindi outside in the sun!
