Holly C.

Mental Health Clinician, Adventure Therapist, LPCC

Holly is from Grand Junction, Colorado and earned her Bachelors in English Literature at Colorado Mesa University. While initially planning on becoming a teacher, this career plan got very sidetracked by a summer job running a chainsaw crew comprised of at risk youth for AmeriCorps. From this experience, Holly found she had a strong desire to work with this population (and play in the woods). After that, Holly worked at the youth shelter in Grand Junction and then moved to Denver in 2018 to play for Rocky Mountain Roller Girls and pursue her LPC at University of Colorado Denver where she continued to work with the unhoused community.

Holly interned at  Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado where she worked with the ranch animals and her therapy dog Bluebonnet. Holly loves being out on Colorado’s lakes and rivers with her friends and family and hanging out with her wonderful counseling cohort who compete over who can send the best mental health memes. She also loves skating her dog, reading, birding, moving her houseplants around and baking.
