Bethany D.
Bilingual Mental Health Clinician, Adventure Therapist
Bethany grew up on a small farm in Northwestern Pennsylvania. She has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Anthropology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Bethany spent several years abroad in Asia and South America, traveling, working, teaching and volunteering. She loves a great adventure whether that be abroad or back home hiking with her pooch, Osita. Bethany moved to Colorado to get her Masters in Wilderness Therapy from Naropa University. Through that program she learned how to apply adventure, nature and experiential modalities while treating mental health. She loves the outdoors, paddleboarding, running, reading, yoga, camping, and backpacking. Another passion of hers is the Afro-Brazilian martial art and dance of capoeira, a beautiful acrobatic and playful practice of resiliency.
